I discovered the "track" feature of Twitter. Marginally interesting, but shows promise. I will play with it a little bit over the course of the week and see if it is something that I want to dedicate time to or helps me out in any way.

Track "joshmilane" - you'll be endlessly disappointed :)

I thought of that, but if I am typing into something, aren't I already getting that functionality?

And in regard to the OOTO response... I cant imagine. Why not just giving your cell phone number. If you are obnoxious enough to not answer your phone but take the time to post to Twitter... yikes.

Thanks for the response :)

Josh

How about as a mobile timesheet tool?

Or an extension to an out of occie message. "Hi I am out of the office right now. If you need to speak with me urgently check here to see what I am doing"

Like most technology it's an opportunity for people to leverage or waste.

By the way I haven't signed up for the tool myself and have never even visited their site.

Regards
Craig
